Tampa Bay USNA Attend Devil Rays vs. Yankees Spring Training Game
Thanks to Don Coughlin '62 for taking on the "action officer" job of getting there early to hand out tickets. Hope all had a great time - it sounds like it was a great game! If anyone took pictures - please send them over to me electronically! Thanks! - Steve

"Lou Piniella asked us to attend the home opener and all 81 home games so we can continue our win streak – Tampa Bay 8, Damn Yankees 3. A sunny, hot, sunburn prone afternoon added to the enjoyment of all twenty one USNA rooters in the first base bleachers, part of a sell-out crowd. A gusty wind kept us cool while the D Rays got hot with back-to-back homers by Vaughn and Lee.
The Yankees displayed their new international acquisitions – Cuban defector Jose Contreras (losing pitcher) and Hideki Matsui had an entourage of Japanese media.
Good game, good friends, good fun!"
