On MAY 13th, the Tampa Chapter met at Mad Dog's in South Tampa to hear Bob Silah speak during a luncheon Thanks all that were able to make it on WED.
Thanks to Bob Silah, Navy League Florida State President, North; and MOAA 1st Vice President for giving a great talk about the Navy League and the Military Officers Association of America. We presented him a shirt for being our distinguished spearker!
Bob reported that for only $33 a year, and $15 a year respectively for each organization - it will keep you linked up with all the right periodicals and communications into the Navy and Navy/USMC issues, as well as communications for interesting speakers and lots of other benefits! Next month - JUN 10th - MOAA is having a the USF President speaking at MacDill AFB O-Club at 1130. Even if you are not that active in those issues now - it is interesting reading/networking opportunities, and as you get more time based on your schedules you never know when the info comes in handy!
